SET REALISTIC GOALS
Nothing
in life is free
One
of the most common misconceptions about online businesses and work at home
opportunities is that you will get rich by doing nothing at all. Many people are lured in by ads with fancy
cars, homes and beautiful woman promising unimaginable wealth for a one time
fee! Think about it, the only people
making money with these programs are the company offering it. If it was that easy to get rich, we would ALL
be wealthy!
So
if you joined this program expecting to get rich doing nothing, chances are,
you will be disappointed. Nothing is
free in this world, and especially not money!
Therefore,
set realistic goals for your business.
Think of it as an investment and your goal should be to gain a return
greater than your investment. Since your
operating expenses are roughly $50 per month, your immediate goal should be to
earn more than that each month. All
profits in excess of the operating expenses are pure profit for you!
So
what will it take to make at least $50 per month? The answer to this is really not much at
all.
For
example: A typical rabbit vibrator
retails online for roughly $60-$80. We
offer them at about $40-$50 at wholesale.
So if you sell only 3 of these vibrators you have already reached your
minimum monthly goal. Everything else
you sell is profit!
Rome wasn’t
built in a day
Ask
any experienced business owner and they will tell you that one of the secrets
to building a successful business is patience and time. Rome wasn’t built in a day! Just like any business, it will take time for
your business to become successful. Of
course, this all depends on the effectiveness of your marketing methods. For those of you with really deep pockets,
you can advertise aggressively and quickly generate huge amounts of traffic to
your site in a short amount of time. However, without a huge cash investment, you
will have to invest your time and be patient while your site gains popularity. The important thing to remember here is that
it won’t happen overnight. Think of your
website as a seed that you have planted.
Water the seed daily and in time a tree will grow. Your first year in this business will be
primarily focused on building your foundation.
So set realistic goals in
terms of expected profits and the amount of time that it will take to get your
website generating those profits. Start
with smaller goals at first and as you reach them, set the bar a little higher
each time. Your business potential is
only limited by the effort that you are willing to invest and contribute. So ask yourself everyday, “What have I done
today to help my business grow?” Commit
a small portion of each day to marketing your website and you will reach your
desired goals!
